Real Madrid have refused to give up their bid to sign Chelsea star, Eden Hazard, this summer.
The La Liga giants are refusing to admit defeat and have returned with a £200 million bid for the Belgian forward.
New Chelsea manager, Maurizio Sarri is adamant that the club will resist any offer for Hazard before the European transfer window closes.
But Real’s power-brokers are desperate for Hazard to replace superstar Cristiano Ronaldo at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Ronaldo left the Spanish capital club for Juventus last month.
Express Sports reports that Real Madrid have now decided to pay Chelsea the £200million price tag they placed on the player’s head.
Hazard, who is stalling on signing a new £300,000 a week deal with Chelsea, is not openly pushing to leave the club.
He has also spoken to boss Sarri since returning from his break after the World Cup.
